VIRAK HOR is a web designer and developer focused on clean, beautiful and standard-based development who live and work in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. As he enjoys his work he spares his time running this blog KhmerAK to share off his experiences and his life. He just write it off from what’s in his head, no grammar check, nor well spelling, maybe there’ s a lot of mistakes so please don’t mind and give him a word if you cannot understand.

Virak is currently working with passion to ensure for quality websites and web applications as well as properly use of technology for development in Cambodia. He is a advocator for clean design, accessible and standard-based websites as well as beautiful coding using PHP and RubyOnRails for rapid web application development. In addition, he also works to help non profit and non government organizations make used of the web technologies to achieve their goals since the web has already become a better platform where people can enjoy their digital life style â€“ live and work on, more easily. He enjoys digging the benefits from the bubbles of the Web 2.0 for businesses and social.

Virak is a graduated student from a university in Phnom Penh in Computer Science and was started of his work as a creative web designer and developer since 2002 and has worked for many projects for businesses and NGOs. He always passionate for beautiful designs and standard based websites.

Although Virak enjoys designing and coding the web, what truly inspires him about the Web is its ability to communicate, connect people and make life easier.

Part from his works, he also enjoys non-profit and social works where he found it is a contribution for a better society.

When heâ€™s not haunted over a computer, Virak enjoys sporting, outdoor, music, movie, television and a good night out on the town or if none of those you probably found him at the coffee shop
