Read only good, great, and bests content with aideRSS
This is look like a followup to my previous post about RSS reading, i event have an update link in the post, but i just cannot stop myself to write a new post about it. As i have mentioned in my previous post about what is RSS and how to read it you probably found that there are many tools and services for doing that, rojo, bloglines, Google Reader, … all of those give you a brillian service for grabbing RSS feeds. But imagine, if there is too many feeds comming to read on a very popular topic you like, will you be able to read it all? Probably not, and you might comeup with an idea to find which is the best article to read. With this idea in mind, i usually rely on Techmeme to find out the most talked about article on Technology. I grab the RSS from techmeme and add it to my Google Reader like other feed too. So later on, i can just check techmeme for the hotest article on technology. But hottest article is not only for technology or somehow techmeme is just not enough that is why a new idea is coming up.
A new service call aideRSS which has just launched yesterday look so impressive to fill this gap. aideRSS is a new RSS reader that can filter RSS for the best post base on Post Rank. Post Rank will rank post from 1 to 10 which 10 is the most talked about post and most talked about is the most important. The most talked about posts are post that have many comments and trackbacks. The application then categories the posts in to good, great, and bests for valued reading which mean we can know what are best to read. Is this sound awsome? However, you won’t believe unless Giv’em a try! aideRSS.
One more important point when move around from one reader to another, you probably feeling bore and hate to resubscribe all your feeds again one by one. Please consider the import and export option (an OPML file) which i think available in most applications like for example when i try aideRSS i just export all my feeds from google Reader to an OPML file then when i am at aideRSS i just import it back. All feeds will be autometicaly subscribed.
Last but not least, this is another cool application that is built on Ruby on Rails.
Let’s give em a try and leave me some ideas or read more at:

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article Read only good, great, and bests content with aideRSS, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
