Thanks indeed everyone for showing up and getting your friends on the boat together. Unfortunately, a few of us (who have received this email thread) couldn’t come (next time, hopefully).

Good enough that there was no rain until late night (when only a few of us left: Virak, Tharat, Vutha, John, and I were having some drink at Metro).

Sopheap also had introduce us about her coming Youth Party this Sunday, 15. So why not contact Sopheap, I’ll see you there again.

This email to invite you for a get-together this weekend. It will happen this Sunday, June the 8th, from 5pm to 8pm. We’ll rent a boat for about 25 people. You’re welcome to bring your friends and colleagues along.

The boat rental price for the boat for 3 hours is $30. So, each person will pay about $2 (hopefully less if we can get the maximum number of people). Please bring your own snack and drink.

Meeting point: in front of the royal palace (on the sidewalk next to the riverside). Please see attached map.
When: June the 8th, from 4:30pm – 8:00pm [please show up early, traffic jam during the weekend is common]
What to expect: View of Phnom Penh sunset and Mekong river

Other one is “The First Ever Youth Gathering Party” which is organized by the Youth Network for change YNC

“The First Ever Youth Gathering Party” organized by the Youth Network for Change (YNC), a voluntary
youth network whose mission is to work closely with rural communities;
so that we can equip disadvantaged Cambodian children with the
practical knowledge, skills, and goals to make empowering life
decisions, as well as to build countrywide youth network.

The party will be conducted as the following schedule:

Ticket fee:     $6 (it will go to Charity Fund)

Participants:   YNC members and public

This party aims to strengthen youth network; officially launch YNC;
and to raise fund for future community events to deliver the study
materials to Cambodian rural kids. All your contribution and ticket

There we go cloggers! I have just back from Sovanna Shopping center to see how stuff are getting organized for tomorrow event.  But, seems like it is already done by poo tra.  No much things to hang up, there’s only one big nice banner like in the picture above which you will see it while walking in.
